Each capsule contains:
Cascara Sagrada (bark) 350mg
Other ingredients: Plant-derived capsule (hypromellose), cellulose, silica.
Gluten free, no sugar, salt, yeast, wheat, soy, corn, dairy products, artificial colours, flavours, or preservatives.
Directions
Adults and children age 12 years and over: Take 1 capsule
Precautions
- Not recommended for children under 12 years of age.
- Do not take more than 1 capsule in a 24-hour period.
- Recommended dosage should not be exceeded. Do not take more than 7 days as frequent or prolonged use may result in dependence.
- Not recommended in pregnancy or nursing.
- Laxatives should not be used when abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea or loose stools are present or for more than 1 week unless directed by a qualified healthcare practitioner.
- If a sudden change in bowel habits has been noticed that persist over 2 weeks, a qualified healthcare professional should be consulted before using laxatives.
- Rectal bleeding or failure to move bowels after laxative use may indicate a serious condition, discontinue use and consult a qualified healthcare practitioner.
